Liberty Grille History

Before the area became Del Webb’s Spruce Creek Golf & Country Club, portions of the property were used for cattle grazing and peanut farming. Local reporting notes that the land was purchased in the 1950s (about 1,000 acres) and later sold a few years after. The opening of Eagle Ridge Golf Club’s Sandwich Shoppe was announced in a December 1998 newsletter.

Over the last 20+ years the restaurant has carried a few different names, but the setting and hospitality remained consistent. In July 2021, the restaurant was renovated and rebranded with experienced staff to bring new energy back to the property.
